- Our host will receive you in their home stay in Kandy, with a warm greeting and introduce you to their family members and offer you a freshly plucked Coconut drinks and usher you to their lovely Tree House.
- Enjoy a home cooked lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure wandering around the area seeing people, village groceries, paddy fields and observe the local culture on your own.
- The host will accompany you to a village bakery to buy bread for the dinner where you could witness how a traditional bakery works and even make your own bread. While at home you could taste the freshly made bread with homemade local curries as accompaniments. What a better way to experience local culture and food?
- Sleep overnight in a Tree House at the home stay in Kandy.
- Enjoy a hearty breakfast prepared at home. The host at the home stay will be taking you to visit a local market to buy the ingredients for lunch. The host will introduce you local spices and healthy vegetables with healing properties while you experience a chaos of a local market. Coming back home, you could join with the host to cook and learn the local way of cooking a very tasty meal using very traditional methods.
- After lunch you could spend some relaxing time on your own at the Tree House, or even take a brief nap.
- In the afternoon the host will accompany you to Kandy Temple of Tooth Relic to witness and observe centuries old pilgrim rituals of Buddhist people and pay homage to Lord Buddha’s Tooth Relic.
- Join with the local family and make a fish BBQ for dinner; this is a very experiential and joyful event.

- After an early breakfast, with a picnic lunch go to explore an authentic mountainous village in Kandy where one could witness the real rural lives, culture, tea estates, forest patches, waterfall, terraced paddy fields and domestic spice fields. You will be served a home cooked lunch in a remote village house.
- You would also see buffaloes being used to work in paddy fields as they cannot bring any machinery in to mountainous villages, so this is a perfect place to witness traditional agricultural methods.
- The trip comes to end when you are brought to Kandy town. In these three days, you just witnessed very authentic local culture, village life and best of home cooked Sri Lankan food.
